Park and Ride
Try parking at one of the DTA's Park and Ride lots and ride a bus to work. The DTA maintains two Park and Ride Lots:
Piedmont Park & Ride
Located at the corner of Haines Road & Piedmont Avenue the Piedmont Park & Ride lot, which has a capacity for up to 15 cars, is served by the 9 (Piedmont) bus route with service to downtown every half an hour during weekday peak hours and hourly during off-peak hours and weekends. The Piedmont Park & Ride lot is also equipped with a bike rack.
Woodland Park & Ride
The Woodland Park & Ride lot, which is located on Calvary Road and Chicago Avenue, is served by the 13 (UMD - Woodland via East 4th Street) bus route with service to downtown every half an hour during weekday peak hours and hourly during off-peak hours and weekends.
Hermantown Park and Ride
The Hermantown Park and Ride, which is located at the Lakes Ten Theater in Hermantown is served by the 20 bus route.
Parking, which is free at these DTA Park & Ride lots, enables those living in rural areas to park for free and ride the DTA.
