DTA Outreach Program
The DTA offers "Bus Riding 101" presentations to community groups to keep citizens informed about DTA services and to provide an opportunity for airing of public comments, observations and concerns.
Bus Riding 101 presentations target primarily senior groups in housing complexes, assisted living facilities, neighborhood community centers and community clubs in the Twin Ports; but other groups are also invited to inquire. The DTA will schedule Bus Riding 101 sessions for groups of 25 or more in conjunction with monthly tenant meetings or community club member events or upon request. Bus Riding 101 sessions, which run about an hour, provide an overview of DTA services, tips for first-time riders, trip planning and paying fares, along with updates on bus information technologies and passenger amenities.
DTA schedules, Rider Guides along with information on STRIDE are made available at Bus Riding 101 sessions.
If your group would like more information about Bus Riding 101 or to schedule a session, contact DTA Marketing Department at 218-623-4314 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
