WILLIAM A IRVIN 5K RACE DETOUR (Route 110) Friday, June 19th
On Friday, June 19th, the William A. Irvin 5k race will close Railroad Street at 5th Avenue West from 12:30pm until approximately approx. 3:30pm. This closure will cause a detour for Duluth-Superior Route 110 buses, which were using Railroad Street to detour the closure of West Superior Street.
The Route 110 trips listed below will need to detour as follows:
Buses from Duluth to Superior WI, Departing DTC @: 12:30pm, 1pm, 1:30pm, 2pm, 2:30pm, 3pm, and 3:30pm
Run regular route to Superior Street and 5th Avenue West, then continue along Superior Street to the southbound I-35 ramp. Run I-35 to I-535 Superior Wi. Cross the Blatnik Bridge and return to regular route in Superior WI.
Buses from Superior to Duluth MN, Departing Aldi @: 12:16pm, 12:46pm, 1:16pm, 1:46pm, 2:16pm, 2:46pm, and 3:16pm
Run regular route to I-535 Blatnik Bridge and the Garfield Avenue exit, then instead of exiting onto Garfield Avenue, continue along I-535 to the I-35 northbound exit, run I-35 north to the Superior Street exit. Run Superior Street to DTC and regular route.
Passengers along Garfield Avenue will not be provided service during this time.
