Due to continuing difficult driving conditions and the unknowns related to future road conditions, the DTA is highly concerned about bus service this evening.
If conditions improve and roads remain passable, we will continue providing bus service. If conditions are poor and road conditions deteriorate after 6pm, we will cancel bus service completely or revert to emergency mainline service only.
The DTA highly recommends passengers make required trips as early as possible and take into account bus service could be completely cancelled this evening. Do not put yourself in a position to be stranded were this to occur.
The Duluth Hillside is the most problematic area and would likely be cancelled first. This includes all routes that utilize 3rd Avenue East, 4th Avenue East and 6thAvenue East. Green Line Route 102 and Routes 104, 105, 106 and 114 are examples.
STRIDE Paratransit service will operate in conjunction with DTA service. If DTA service is cancelled or paused entirely, STRIDE will also be cancelled or paused.
