Due to potential traffic conflicts and declining ridership, effective Monday, May 3rd DTA Route 16 will no longer provide service within the parking lot of the Mariner Mall in Superior. Route 16 and 16X bus routing will be as follows:
Outbound (From Duluth)
Regular route to 28th Street North and Hill Avenue , then buses will turn left onto Hill Avenue and return to regular route at 25th Street North, bypassing the Mariner Mall’s lot completely.
Inbound (To Duluth):
Reverse of above routing.
Four new bus stops will be placed along Hill Avenue in the vicinity of the Mall. Two in each direction.
