Effective Tuesday, July 18th, 2nd Street in Proctor will be closed at 5th Street to all traffic.
This closure will cause all of Route 3 west of the railroad tracks to be curtailed. All passengers west of the railroad tracks along 2nd Street, 4th Street or any Avenue from Ugstad Road to 5th Avenue will be required to board buses on Pionk Drive near 2nd Street.
Buses will detour as follows;
Route 3 From Downtown:
Buses will run regular route to Highway 2 and 2nd Street, then turn right on 2nd Street and run to Pionk Drive (The first Street on the left behind the gas station) turn left on Pionk Drive and layover there. Passengers on the west side of the tracks will be required to walk to this location to board the bus.
Route 3 To Downtown:
From the temporary layover on Pionk Drive (behind the gas station) buses will run to 1st Street, turn left and run to Highway 2, turn left and continue on regular route inbound.
This detour is expected to last one to two days.
