Buses return to regular route @ 1:30pm
Heavy rain and localized flooding along Saint Marie Street near the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) required DTA routes to detour as follows:
Route 101 Blue Line: “To UMD”: Regular route to Woodland Avenue and College Street, bus then detour by turning left on College Street to Junction Avenue, right on Junction Avenue which turns into Saint Marie Street to Kirby Drive, right on Kirby Drive to Kirby Plaza.
Route 101 Blue Line “To Downtown and West Duluth”: Reverse of above routing.
Route 103 “To UMD” and Route 112 “To Mall”: Regular route to Woodland Avenue and Arrowhead Road, then buses detour by turning right on Arrowhead Road to Carver Avenue, left on Carver Avenue t0 Saint Marie Street, right on Saint Marie Street and regular route to Kirby.
Route 103 “To Downtown and West Duluth” and Route 112 “From Mall To Woodland” Reverse of above routing.
The duration of this detour is unknown. Buses will return to regular route when the flooded roadway have subsided.
