The annual “Proctor Hoghead Festival” will be held on Wednesday through Saturday, August 18th -21st, with street cleanup Sunday August 22nd. Third Avenue between 4th and 5th Streets will be closed at various times from Wednesday morning through approximately noon Sunday. To reduce passenger confusion Route 3 Proctor buses will use only one detour for the entire period starting Wednesday morning, August 18th until Sunday, August 22nd at noon.
OUTBOUND: Buses will run regular route through Zenith Terrace and back to Boundary Avenue, then will detour via turning left on Boundary Avenue to Highway 2, right on Highway 2 to 2nd Street, left on 2nd Street and return to regular route.
INBOUND: Buses will run reverse of outbound detour routing.
Passengers in the affected detour area where service will be curtailed are directed to use other existing bus stops along Boundary Avenue or 2nd Street on the west side of Highway 2.
