A long-term road construction project on Highway 23 between Gary/New Duluth and Fond Du Lac, and the subsequent extreme delays to Fond Du Lac bus service in the afternoon, outbound afternoon Route 2F trips will only provide service to Fond Du Lac if a passenger on the bus needs transportation to Fond Du Lac. If no passengers are present, service will terminate at Commonwealth Avenue and McCuen Street in New Duluth.
Passengers in Fond Du Lac planning a return trip aboard an afternoon Route 2F trip should call 218-623-4328 to let the DTA know of their needs.
This policy will again be reviewed later as ridership needs and the impact of the changes are determined.
