City Officials have indicated that Grand Ave will reopen at 4:30pm today. We will resume regular routing upon this reopening.
Effective immediately repairs needed for a water main break closes Grand Ave between Central Ave and Elinor St. This creates a detour requirement for Route 103 and the Blue Line as follows:
EASTBOUND: From Grand Ave and Central Ave detour by turning right on to Central Ave, follow Central Ave to Ramsey St and turn left, follow Ramsey St to Colalillo Dr and turn left, follow Colalillo Dr to 46th Ave W and turn left, follow 46th Ave W to Grand Ave and turn right back onto regular route
WESTBOUND: Reverse of Eastbound directions
Blue Line and Route 103 are asked to provide service at any Route 109 stops passed along this detour. There are also temporary stops on 46th Ave W near the entrances to Denfeld Center and CVS as well as on Grand Ave approximately at 45th Ave W, as the shelters at 46th Ave W need to be temporarily closed.
The duration of this detour is unknown at this time until crews can assess the extent of the damage. It is anticipated that it will reopen late in the day on Friday 8/30 (as of 8:45pm 8/29)
