Disruptive Detour Alert:
Due to an unexpected and modification to road construction, every route that serves UMD will be significantly impacted beginning Tuesday, July 1st and last until at least the 4th of July on Friday, but could extend longer.
We apologize for the inconvenience this will likely cause to transit service, and deeply considered all possible detour approaches to provide the best service in the
On Tuesday July 1st, 2025, a combination of closures will have significant impact on operations for all routes that use Kirby Plaza.
This combination of overlapping closures is reported to last for four days, however given the holiday weekend we anticipate this to be in place until at least July 7th. We will be revising Kirby Plaza
detours upon the reopening of Junction Ave. This detour is replacing a major hub for our network, and it is encouraged that everyone reviews the maps provided and read instructions carefully. Please see the accompanying map collection.

ALL LINES INCLUDING BLUE LINE:
Blue Line To UMD: Regular Route to Woodland Ave and St. Marie St, detour by turning Right onto St. Marie St, pull over and layover passed 1st entrance to Mt. Royal food parking lot.
Blue Line From UMD: Leave at scheduled departure time from Kirby, from layover area follow St. Marie St to Wallace Ave and turn left, follow Wallace Ave to Arrowhead Rd and turn left, follow Arrowhead Rd to lights at Woodland Ave and turn
left, follow Woodland Ave until you can resume regular route.
103 To UMD: From Woodland Ave and St. Marie St detour by staying straight on Woodland Ave until Clover St and turn left, follow Clover St to 8th St and turn left, follow 8th St to 26th Ave E and turn right, follow 26th Ave E to 7th St and turn right,
follow 7th St to Clover St and turn right follow Clover St to shoulder before entrance to Blue Stone area shops.
103 From UMD: Leave at scheduled departure time form Kirby, from layover proceed to Woodland Ave and turn right, follow Woodland Ave until you can resume regular route.
104 To UMD: Regular Route to Woodland Ave and College St, detour by turning left onto College St, follow College St Kirby Dr and turn right, follow Kirby Dr to temporary drop off stop before Kirby turn around, board and alight in the turn around area.
104 From UMD: From layover proceed south on Kirby Dr to College St, turn left onto College St and follow to Woodland Ave, turn right onto Woodland Ave to resume regular route.
105 To UMD: From 19th Ave E and College St, detour by turning right onto College St, follow College St to Kirby Dr and turn left, follow Kirby Dr to DTA turn around and layover. Board and alight in the turn around area.
105 From UMD: Take Kirby Dr southbound towards College St and at College St turn right, follow College St to 19th Ave E and turn left to resume regular route.
106 To UMD: Follow regular route until 1st entrance to Kenwood Shopping Center on Arrowhead Rd (see map) pull into the parking lot of the shopping center and layover.
106 From UMD: Depart from the shopping center approximately 6 minutes past normal Kirby departure time. Exit the lot and turn left onto Arrowhead Rd to resume regular route.
112 To Mall: From St. Marie St at Carver Ave detour by turning right on Carver Ave and follow until Arrowhead Rd, turn left on Arrowhead Rd and follow to Kenwood Ave, turn left on Kenwood Ave and proceed towards CSS to resume regular route.
112 From Mall: From exiting CSS onto Kenwood Ave stay straight on Kenwood Ave PAST College St and proceed to Arrowhead Rd, turn right on Arrowhead Rd; follow Arrowhead Rd to Carver Ave and turn right, follow Carver Ave to St. Marie St and turn left onto St. Marie St resuming regular route.
