When the BBB begins Sunday, August 27th, Commonwealth Avenue (Hwy 23) will still be closed on the north end of Gary-New Duluth for the replacement of the Steele Creek culvert.
This closure will cause all Route 103 buses to detour as follows:
From Downtown: Regular route to Commonwealth Avenue(Hwy 23) and Becks Road, then detour by turning right on Becks Road and run to Gary Street, turn left and run Gary Street back to Commonwealth Avenue, turn right and run regular route to the New Duluth layover/turn-around.
To Downtown: Reverse of above routing.
This is expected to be a long-term detour. Buses can run regular route until Commonwealth closes and may return to regular route as soon as it reopens.
