Effective Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 11:30am, the Blatnik Bridge lanes from Duluth, MN, to Superior, WI, will be closed. These lanes will reopen Thursday August 10th at 5am.

Passengers along Garfield Avenue and at Goodwill Industries:

A Shuttle Will Be Available Wednesday morning from 6:28am to 7:54am From DTC to Garfield Avenue and Goodwill:
Service to Goodwill Industries and Garfield Avenue will depart from the Duluth Transportation Center at 6:28am, 7:02am, 7:32am and 7:54am. Look for the bus signed “Goodwill” parked on Michigan Street. Service from Goodwill Industries to downtown Duluth will not be affected. Passengers on Garfield Avenue and at Goodwill Industries wanting to go to Superior, WI, will have to go to downtown Duluth and transfer to a Superior bound bus which will cross to Superior via the Bong Bridge.

Route 16 buses going to Superior, WI. after 10:50am will detour via the Bong Bridge as follows:

From downtown Duluth, buses will run via Superior Street to the freeway entrance at Mesaba Avenue, then via the freeway, Bong Bridge, and Belknap Street to Banks Avenue, left on Banks Avenue to Broadway Street, right on Broadway Street to Tower Avenue, right on Tower Avenue to 14th Street and regular route.

North End Superior:

Passengers in Superior’s North End along N 5th St., Catlin or Broadway wanting to travel to Itasca, or transfer to the Billings Park or South Superior bus will have to find alternate ways to downtown Superior.

Garfield Avenue and Goodwill Industries:
