Detour Alert:
5th St East End Superior Detour TEMPORARY MODIFICATION
On Friday, October 3rd and lasting for 1-3 days, the intersection of 24th Ave E and E 5th St will be closed for 1 to 3 days. The existing detour for E 5th St on Route 111 will need a slight modification until the intersection has reopened. We will return to the original detour as soon as the intersection is reopened. A temporary stop pair will be added on E 4th St just south east of 24th Ave E. Temporary stops will be added on 4th just southeast of 24th E for this change.
The updated detour instructions are as follows:
From Downtown to Itasca: Regular route to East 5th St and 23rd Ave East, detour by turning left on 23rd Ave, follow to 4th St and turn right onto 4th St, follow until 31st Ave and turn left to resume regular route.
From Itasca to Downtown: Reverse of “to Itasca” directions.
