Road construction and reduced lane width along 3rd Avenue East are causing a detour for inbound buses using 3rd Avenue East between 3rd street and 1st Street.
Effective immediately inbound “To Downtown” buses will detour as follows:
Buses will use regular route to 3rd Street and 3rd Avenue East, then buses will detour by continuing along 3rd Street to 2nd Avenue East, turn left and run to 1st Street, turn left on 1st Street and run to 3rd Avenue East, turn right on 3rd Avenue East and regular route to downtown. Outbound, “From Downtown” buses will continue to use 3rd Avenue East to 2nd Street as per normal.
The duration of this detour is unknown at this time.
