Memorial Day Parade Detour Monday, May 25th,
Effective when barricades are up for routes 103 and 109:
On Monday, May 25th, between 9am and 1pm, a Spirit Valley Memorial Day parade will close Grand Ave. and Central Ave. from 59th Ave. W. to Central Ave. and Central Ave. from Grand Ave. to Ramsey St. When the barricades are placed buses will detour as follows:
Route 103 Outbound From Downtown/To Gary: Regular route to Grand Ave. and Central Ave., then detour via right on Central Ave. to Cody St., left on Cody St. to 59th Ave. W, left on 59th Ave. W. to Grand Ave., right on Grand Ave. and return to regular route.
Route 103 To Downtown/UMD: Regular route to Grand Ave. and 59th Ave. W., then detour via left on 59th Ave. W. to Cody St., right on Cody St. to Central Ave., right on Central Ave. to Grand Ave., left on Grand Ave. and return to regular route.
Route 109 Outbound to Proctor: Regular route to West 1st St and 46th Ave W., will then turn right on 46th Ave W to Grand Ave., turn left on Grand Ave to Central Ave. turn right on Central Ave. to Cody St., turn left on Cody St. to 59th Ave W. and return to regular route to Proctor.
Route 109 Inbound to Downtown: Regular route regular route to Cody St. and 59th Ave. W., then detour by continuing straight on Cody to Central Ave., turn right on Central Ave. to Grand Ave., turn left on Grand Ave. and follow to 46th Ave. W., turn right on 46th Ave. W. and follow to West 1st St., turn left on West 1st St. and return to regular route.
Buses will resume regular routing as soon as the parade barricades are removed.
