DTA Commuter Challenge Breakfast Scheduled for Thursday, September 25th

DULUTH, MINNESOTA (September 23, 2014) – The Duluth Transit Authority (DTA) is hosting the 2nd Annual Commuter Challenge Breakfast this Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at the Radisson Hotel. The event will feature a presentation about the benefits of riding the bus to work. A spokesperson from Enterprise Rideshare will present information about their CarShare program. Plus, DTA staff will provide an update on the NEW Multimodal Transportation Center.

The Greater Minnesota Commuter Challenge is a statewide campaign funded through the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) to promote riding the bus, biking or car-pooling to work. This campaign takes place throughout greater Minnesota from April 21st to October 1st and provides mid-sized transit systems, such as the DTA, resources to engage with the business community and promote the benefits of commuting to work on the bus.
