Due to a watermain repair, 28th Street in Superior will be closed between Catlin Avenue and Hill Avenue on Wednesday, January 25th from 9am to 11am in both directions, and on Thursday, January 26th from 7am to 4pm on the eastbound (outbound) side only.
During these times Route 16 buses will detour as follows:
Outbound Route 16 (From Duluth) Wed 9am-11am & Thurs 7am-4pm:
Buses will run regular route to Catlin Avenue and 21st Street, then detour via turning left on 21st Street to Hill Avenue, right on Hill Avenue to 25th Street (the road behind the Mall), enter Mall parking lot at first entrance and turn around. Exit back onto 25th Street and run back to Hill Avenue, turn right and regular route to Itasca.
Inbound Route 16 (To Duluth) Wed 9am to 11am:
Buses will run reverse of the above routing.
Inbound Route 16 (To Duluth) Thurs 7am to 4pm:
No Detour. Buses will use regular route.
