UPDATE 8/30 It is possible this detour will carry into the first week of September. We will resume regular route over the holiday weekend as long as work is not taking place and will resume detour on Tuesday unless we receive an update from MNDOT.
On Monday August 26th 21st Ave West will be closed daily from 6am to 6pm for approximately 1 week to accommodate overpass construction above 21st Ave West. Trips before 6am and after 6pm will be on regular route. All trips between 6am and 6pm will detour as follows:
ALL WESTBOUND ROUTES: From 21st Ave West and 1st St detour by turning left onto 1st St and follow 1st St to 22nd Ave West and turn right onto 22nd Ave West, follow 22nd Ave West to 3rd St and turn left to resume regular routing.
ALL EASTBOUND ROUTES: Reverse of the Westbound directions.
There will be temporary stop at 22nd Ave West and 2nd St in either direction available from 6am to 6pm. Stops affected by the detour will be closed from 6am to 6pm.
Depending on weather conditions it’s possible that 21st Ave West may be open at times during this schedule, but for consistency we will maintain this detour schedule until we have word from MNDOT that they have completed the work.
