ATE Management of Duluth, Inc., Managers for the Duluth Transit Authority is seeking a qualified individual for a part-time Information Specialist. This immediate position offers approximately 17-20 hrs/week with the possibility of more as an on call position and has future full time potential. This candidate should be a customer friendly individual to provide route and schedule information to the general public primarily from the new Duluth Transportation Center and also the DTA Operating Center. This position also sells and assists the public with all fare media. Daily auditing of receipts and sales requires accuracy with attention to financial data. Must be able to work weekends if needed. JOB PURPOSE: Procurement Manager has responsibility within delegated authority for procurement of goods and services on behalf of DTA, following established policies and procedures as well as Federal Transit Administration and State of Minnesota regulations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Establishes RFB, RFQ and RFP standards and prepares procurement documents to publicly solicit bids and contracts for the purchase and/or lease of materials and services. The Procurement Manager leads the review of proposals to determine the best offer. The position is responsible for ensuring procurement records are maintained and organized and all procurements are fully documented from origination through completion of purchase and receipt of goods and/or services.
