Juneteeth Celebration Detour Thursday June 19th (Routes 104/114)
On Thursday June 19th, 2025 The Duluth NAACP will be hosting a Juneteenth
Celebration on 4th St between Lake Ave and 1st Ave E from 3pm to 7pm. This will
close this block from approximately 2:30pm to 7:30pm and will cause Route 104
and 114 to detour during the event.
Route 104 (To UMD): From Lake Ave and 1st St maneuver to the right lane to turn
right onto 2nd St. Continue to 1st Ave E and turn left, follow 1st Ave E to 4th Street and
turn right onto 4th St to regular route.
Route 104 Inbound (To Downtown): From 4th Street and 1st Ave E turn left onto 1st
Ave E and follow to 3rd St, turn right. Take 3rd St to Lake Ave turn left back to regular
route.
Route 114 (To Observation Hill): From Lake Ave and 1st St maneuver to the right
lane to turn right onto 2nd St. Continue to 1st Ave E and turn left, follow 1st Ave E to
4th Street and turn right onto 4th St to regular route.

We will resume normal route once 4th St is reopened and there will be no temporary stops
placed available given the scope of this detour.
