Park and Ride
Try parking at one of the DTA's Park and Ride lots and ride a bus to work. The DTA maintains two Park and Ride Lots:

The Piedmont Park & Ride lot, which has a capacity for up to 15 cars, is served by the #9 Piedmont bus route with service to downtown every half an hour during weekday peak hours and hourly during off-peak hours and weekends. The Piedmont Park & Ride lot is also equipped with a bike rack. |

The Woodland Park & Ride lot, which is located on Calvary Road and Chicago Avenue, is served by the UMD - Woodland via East 4th Street bus route with service to downtown every half an hour during weekday peak hours and hourly during off-peak hours and weekends. |
Parking, which is free at these DTA Park & Ride lots, enables those living in rural areas to park for free and ride the DTA.
