DTA to Close the New Duluth Transportation Center on Monday, April 25th Due to Michigan Street Construction

DULUTH, MINNESOTA (April 20, 2016) – The Duluth Transit Authority (DTA) will be closing the Duluth Transportation Center (DTC) on Monday, April 25, 2016 due to Michigan Street Construction. The closure is projected to last 30 days depending on the construction progress.
During the closure all DTA buses will utilize the former Superior Street bus stops at the Holiday Center and the Transit Center East. Passengers will be required to board and alight buses on Superior Street during the closure. The Transit Center East (TCE) on the lower side of Superior Street will be used for eastbound buses and the Holiday Center bus stop on the upper side of Superior Street will be used for westbound buses.
The DTA Information Booth will be re-opened in the TCE. Passengers can purchase fare cards and bus passes there during the hours listed below. The Transit Vending Machine (TVM) will also be moved back to TCE.
Information Booth Hours:
Monday – Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Monday – Friday: 6:00 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.
Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
