DTA to operate holiday service on Labor Day
Published: Expires: 9/5/2011
The Duluth Transit Authority will operate a limited holiday service schedule for regular route and STRIDE services on Labor Day, Monday, September 5.
Beginning with this past New Year’s Day (January 1, 2011), the DTA introduced the operation of holiday services in Duluth. The DTA will operate a limited holiday service schedule (similar to the Sunday level of service) on all major holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas. Holiday service, however, will only be provided in Duluth. Prior to New Year’s Day 2011, the DTA had not provided holiday services since the early 1970s.
Holiday service schedules are highlighted on all passenger hand schedule’s Sunday section and on the DTA website – www.duluthtransit.com.
