DTA employees raise $1,600 for local Toyland Express Drive

Duluth Transit Authority (DTA) drivers and staff volunteers have raised $1,600 for the local Toyland Express Drive. These funds were raised in a raffle that was held at the Driver’s Annual Holiday Party on December 5th.
DTA drivers and staff volunteers solicited prizes from local businesses for the raffle and presented the Salvation Army with a check on December 9th along with twelve new bicycles and a box of toys.
Toys and Christmas gifts will be purchased by the Salvation Army and distributed to children of needy families in the Twin Ports in time for Christmas.
