DTA to run free Trolley service for GDC’s “It’s a Wonderful Night” shopping event on Thursday, December 18th

The Duluth Transit Authority will operate Port Town Trolley service for the Greater Downtown Council’s "It’s a Wonderful Night" downtown shopping event from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 18th.

Through a collaborative effort with Midwest Communications, shoppers will be able to ride the Trolley – the "George Bailey Express" without charge.

Two Port Town Trolleys will operate service every 15 minutes along Superior Street between Fitger’s and Sixth Avenue West, along Railroad Street and Canal Park Drive. The Trolley will stop at all downtown bus stops along Superior Street including: Fitger's, Greysolon Plaza, Fond Du Luth Casino, the Holiday Center and Radisson Hotel. The Trolley will also serve the Depot, the DeWitt-Seitz Marketplace and other locations along Canal Park Drive.
