DTA Seeks Community Input to Shape Duluth Area Transit Development Plan

Published: Expires: 7/20/2017

DULUTH, MINNESOTA (July 12, 2017) – The Duluth Transit Authority (DTA) is hosting the second open house for their Transit Development Plan (TDP). The public is encouraged to attend to learn more about the service recommendations DTA is proposing to improve their transit system as part of the TDP and provide their feedback. Staff will be on hand to answer questions. Public input from current and potential DTA passengers has been a significant part of the TDP process.

The second Open House will be at the Duluth Transportation Center (DTC) on Wednesday, July 19th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The facility is located at 228 West Michigan Street. Note that activities for children will be available and light refreshments will be provided.

About the TDP

The TDP will comprehensively evaluate the connectivity, performance, and efficiency of the existing transit system while identifying potential for future improvements. The DTA is working to update this important plan now through August of 2017.
