The DTA is relocating its main bus stop at the Miller Hill Mall on Wednesday, January 9th, to accommodate the expansion of the Mall and construction of Dick’s Sporting Goods store on the southeast corner of the Mall complex, which is expected to last for six months. The current DTA stop at Door Eight will be relocated during the construction to Door One which is located near J.C. Penney’s main entrance.
In addition, the bus stop at Sears will not be served by the DTA during the construction.
The relocation of the main Miller Hill Mall bus stop will not affect schedule times. A bus shelter will be placed near Door One for passengers traveling north beyond the Mall. Passengers waiting for a bus to downtown will be able to wait inside the Door One lobby, where the fare vending machine and schedule information displays will be temporarily relocated.
The construction at the Mall and relocation of the DTA bus hub is expected to continue until June.
DTA buses will return to Door Eight at the Miller Hill Mall and Sears bus stop once construction is completed.
