The DTA's mission is to provide a public transit service that is safe, convenient, efficient and affordable.

DTA Travel Training

Some people with disabilities are able to use fixed-route transit if they receive training. Travel training can be provided on how to use DTA buses, read schedules, make connections, and plan trips.

Free travel training is offered monthly by the Center for Independent Living of Northeastern Minnesota. (218) 625-1400. Or at http://accessnorth.net/.

The Lighthouse Center for Vison Loss provides life skills training, including riding the bus for people with vision imparements: http://www.lcfvl.org
