Passengers must validate fare card or deposit fare directly into farebox. Drivers do not make change and fare-boxes do not give change.

Stored Value Cards can be charged and recharged in $5 increments up to $25 or with any fare option. Fare cards with stored monetary values are valid for only one year from time of purchase. Damaged fare cards can be replaced for a $2 fee at the Downtown Transit Center and DTA Operations Center, located at 2402 W. Michigan Street.

Passes and Stored Value Cards are available at the Downtown Transit Center, DTA Operations Center and fare vending machines located at the Downtown Transit Center, Miller Hill Mall’s Door 8 Bus Stop and the Public Library in Superior, WI. Day Passes are also available on the bus.

DTA passes provide unlimited travel on buses and trolleys. DTA passes are transferable; but not on the same bus by another person. Stored Value Cards can be used by more than one fare-paying rider at a time.

Fare-boxes accept $1, $5, $10 and $20 bills and U.S. coins for paying multiple fares and purchasing Day Passes. Canadian coins not accepted.

Transfers to connecting buses are free and are valid for one hour from the time of issue. Transfers must be requested at time of boarding.

DASH & MASH

DASH(Downtown Area Short Hop) - Ride along Superior St. between 6th Ave West and 3rd Ave East and in Canal Park during off-peak hours for a 25-cent fare.

MASH(Mall Area Short Hop) - Ride between Stone Ridge Mall, Miller Hill Mall, and Haines Rd anytime for a 25-cent fare.

Request DASH-MASH ride when boarding the bus.
