DTA Westbound Bus Stop in front of Holiday Center will be Discontinued this Saturday
Published: Expires: 9/6/2017
DULUTH, MINNESOTA (July 6, 2017) – Effective Saturday, July 8, 2017, the Duluth Transit Authority (DTA) will discontinue service to the bus stop located directly in front of the Holiday Center on Superior Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenue West. Due to expanded construction, buses will no longer be able to safely access the curb and shelters. No boarding or alighting will take place at this stop for an indefinite amount of time.
This change will have an impact on most DTA bus routes that travel through downtown Duluth including Route 19 (Port Town Trolley) which will now use the Duluth Transportation Center (DTC) on lower Michigan Street as that major timepoint bus stop. Please note that Port Town Trolley boarding and alighting will take place at the Michigan Street boarding area of DTC.
Passengers who wish to stay on Superior Street can board or alight at the bus stops located on the upper side of Superior Street between 1st and 2nd Avenue West or between 4th and 5th Avenue West.
