Published: Expires: 7/5/2017
DULUTH, MINNESOTA (June 26, 2017) – The Duluth Transit Authority (DTA) will operate a limited holiday service schedule for regular-route buses and STRIDE on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. Holiday service will only be provided in the City of Duluth; not in Superior, Wisconsin. The Holiday Service Schedule for each regular route can be found in the shaded area of the “Sunday” section within the DTA’s passenger hand schedules.
With the DTA’s expanded Port Town Trolley service this year, there will be two trolley buses providing service every 20 minutes from 11:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and one trolley bus providing service every 30 minutes from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. The route was expanded into the Historical Arts & Theater District (HART District) past Fitger’s to East 10th Street. This expanded service should provide ample transportation for Duluth “Fourth Fest” eventgoers
The Port Town Trolley fare is only $.50 cents per passenger. Unlimited-ride DTA Day Passes are also available for purchase on the trolley buses for only $4.00. The DTA’s 31-Day Passes and stored value fare cards are accepted on the Port Town Trolley with children ages 4 and under riding FREE. A downloadable PDF featuring the Port Town Trolley’s route map and schedule can be viewed at duluthtransit.com.
