DULUTH, MINNESOTA (August 31, 2015) – There will be an official Duluth Transit Authority (DTA) press conference on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 in front of the West Duluth Super One at approximately 11:30 a.m. Representatives from the DTA, Fair Food Access and Super One will address the media regarding the NEW DTA Grocery Express bus route.

The Grocery Express route will make its inaugural trip and arrive at the West Duluth Super One at 11:30 a.m. just before the press conference begins. Media will have an opportunity to get photos and/or video of the custom bins and racks that accommodate large amounts of groceries.

This partnership between the DTA, Fair Food Access and Super One has been in development for several months. The Grocery Express is a pilot program that will operate through December. During this time, it will make seven trips from Lincoln Park and seven trips from Morgan Park to the West Duluth Super One every Tuesday.
