Discover Duluth on the Port Town Trolley for FREE!
(Effective September 4, 2018)
In partnership with the City of Duluth, the DTA will operate the Port Town Trolley on a Special Autumn Service schedule through September of 2018. This FREE service will operate along the same route it did during the summer in Bayfront, Canal Park, the Historical Arts and Theater (HART) District and downtown. However, the daily service will now run every 30 minutes from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Special Autumn Service schedule is effective from Tuesday, September 4, 2018 through Sunday, September 30, 2018.
Discover Duluth onboard the Port Town Trolley as it travels along a scenic route in the heart of our city. Many hotels, attractions, restaurants and craft breweries are located along the route.
Park your car at the Duluth Transportation Center (DTC) and conveniently board the Port Town Trolley!
Trolleys have been part of Duluth’s landscape since the early 1880’s. Through the 1920’s, streetcars and trolleys were the primary mode of transportation for thousands of citizens living in the Twin Ports. In 1984, the DTA began offering scenic tours on the first Port Town Trolley bus pictured above.
