The DTA Port Town Trolley operates daily the first week in June through Labor Day. This FREE daily service runs every 15 minutes from approximately 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. and every 30 minutes from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Enjoy riding onboard the trolley bus as it travels along a scenic route that takes visitors through Bayfront, Canal Park, the Historic Arts & Theater (HART) District and downtown Duluth. Many hotels, attractions, restaurants and craft breweries are located along the route.

Trolleys have been part of Duluth’s landscape since the early 1880’s. Through the 1920’s, streetcars and trolleys were the primary mode of transportation for thousands of citizens living in the Twin Ports. In 1984, the DTA began offering scenic tours on the first Port Town Trolley bus pictured above.
