Published: Expires: 7/28/2012

Through a special sponsorship arrangement with the DTA, the local weekly alternative newspaper – Reader – is providing FREE fares for everyone on Saturday, July 28, as part of their Fifteenth Anniversary “ReaderFest” celebration at Bayfront Festival Park.

The Port Town Trolley will provide direct service to the ReaderFest at Bayfront Park on Saturday, July 28, with a special stop near the main gate on Fifth Avenue West and Railroad Street – as Harbor Drive is currently closed to traffic due to construction. The Trolley will run between downtown, Canal Park and Bayfront Park, where the Reader’s Fifteenth Anniversary celebration will be held. The Trolley operates from 11:30 a.m. until 7 p.m. and provides service from all stops every 30 minutes.

Organizers are encouraging the public to take advantage of the free, convenient Trolley service and join in the free ReaderFest activities at Bayfront Park on Saturday, July 28.
