Downtown Detour due to Superior Street Repaving

Starting Tuesday, June 4th, the city will start the repaving of Superior Street between Lake Avenue and 6th Avenue West. This will be done one block at a time with each block taking 2-3 days depending on weather. The repaving will be done just in the driving lanes and all intersections will remain open at all times. Beginning June 4th, the repaving will close Superior Street between Lake Avenue and 1st Avenue East. The detour routing will be as follows:

Westbound Buses: Regular route to Lake Avenue and Superior Street. Detour via right on Lake Avenue, left on 1st Street, left on 2nd Avenue West, right on Superior Street and regular route.

Park Point Buses: Outbound buses will run Regular route to 2nd Avenue West and Superior Street then detour by turning right on 2nd Avenue West, left on Michigan Street, left on 1st Avenue East, left on Superior Street to Lake Avenue and regular route. Inbound Park Point buses will detour by continuing straight on Lake Avenue to 1st Street, left on 1st Street to 2nd Avenue West, left on  2nd Avenue West to Superior Street and regular route.

East Mainline Buses:          Regular route to 2nd Avenue West and Superior Street then detour by turning right on 2nd Avenue West, left on Michigan Street, left on 1st Avenue East, right on Superior Street and regular route.

Route 10 & 14 Mall Buses (Outbound): Detour via East Mainline detour to Superior Street, then left on Superior Street to Lake Avenue and regular route.

Route 10 & 14 Mall Buses (Inbound): regular route to Lake Avenue and 1st Street and then detour via right on 1st Street to 2nd Avenue West, left on 2nd Avenue West to Superior Street and regular route.
